Camp Loopy Project 2

I chose to make the Readers Wrap shown on the Ravelry web site.  I loved this pattern and it will be a gift for a friend who is always chilly.

The yarn I chose was Malabrigo  Worsted and the color is Amoroso 157!  It knit up beautifully and was a pleasure to work with.  And next, Camp Loopy Project 3!!!

Camp Loopy Project 1

My chosen project for Camp Loopy was the Pine Forest Baby Blanket (thanks to Judy L.).  I used Dream Classy - Crying Dove for my yarn.  And my final results:

This was a quick and easy pattern to knit - and very easy to memorize the stitches.  It was free on Ravelery.

Stash Report - Week 6, 2012

Still nothing to report.  The numbers remain the same:

Fabric Added:  0 yards
Fabric Used:  0 yards
YTD Added:  0 yards
YTD Used:  0 yards
Net Used:  0 yards

The net used is not correct, but I am working on Rolling Along - very slowly.  The 72 flying geese are constructed and are in the process of being trimmed.  It's very slow progress, but progress!  My back just doesn't allow for much activity.  My spinal injections  that were scheduled for February 2 have been rescheduled for February 13.

Stash Report - Week 5,, 2012

No fabric was added, but I did use a little!!!  I have started Rolling Along, and am working on the Flying Geese blocks. The fabric for the blocks is cut and ready to stitch.   I have learned how to use the Triangulations software!!!  It must be at least six months ago I bought it.  I have left it in my hard drive of my computer so I can find it.  (Thank you, Judy, for that suggestion.)

My report remains the same.  I will not the count the fabric used until the top is completed.

Fabric Added:  0 yards
Fabric Used:  0 yards
YTD Added:  0 yards
YTD Used:  0 yards
Net Used:  0 yards

Stash Report - Week 4 2012

The stash report remains the same.  Nothing added, nothing used.  This is getting very embarrassing to report!

Fabric Added:  0 yards
Fabric Used:  0 yards
YTD Added:  0 yards
YTD Used:  0 yards
Net Used:  0 yards

Health issues continue to get in my way.  The shots in my spine are scheduled for February 2 - maybe after that I'll get going,  Knitting is happening - two pair of socks are completed in January and I finished the first of another pair this week.  My post for 12 in 2012 will look good this month.  And the sweater I am knitting is coming along also - up to the armhole decreases for the back.  At least I can sit and knit!!!

Check out Judy's blog to see the progress of other stash reporters.  Have a great week!

Stash Report - Week 3, January 15, 2012

Another boring week - nothing added, nothing used.  I can't be sure of that next week - DH and I will go to Phoenix on Tuesday.  I will spend part of the day with a quilty friend checking out quilt shops while DH shops and visits three outdoor  grilling/smoking equipment stores.  The embarrassing report:

Fabric Added:  0 yards
Fabric Used:  0 yards
YTD Added:  0 yards
YTD Used:  0 yards
Net Used:  0 yards

Why embarrassing?  I've been working on the half square triangles - ready to trim to size - but nothing else.  I need to kick it in to high gear or nothing will get completed.  DS remarked when we had Christmas last weekend that there were no new quilts for them.  Oh Oh!!! I have DDIL's done except for a label, and bought the fabric last spring for his.  Maybe I'll embroider her label this week and add it to the quilt and his will get started.

My new AccuQuilt arrived this week along with some dies - hopefully I have the right ones for his quilt.  It will be a learning experience - and a positive one.

Check out Judy's blog and see how everyone is doing.  Have a great week!!!

Stash Report - Week 2

Finally!!!  Some quilting activity has occurred.  I've been working on the half square triangles for a UFO - Bears in the Farmhouse.  I don't count the fabric used until the quilt is done, so it will be a few more weeks.  My report is the same as last week:

Fabric Added:  0 yards
Fabric Used:  0 yards
YTD Added:  0 yards
YTD Used:  0 yards
Net Used:  0 yards

I have done some knitting - finished a pair of socks - no pictures yet, so I have met my January goal for the 12 in 2012 sock challenge.
