Stash Socks - January 2011

I have had fun with the sock knitting in January.  I finished two pair of socks for toddlers for donation:

This is the same pattern used for adult socks.  I have quite a supple of baby yarn - and had no idea of what to do with it.  I decided to use one skein each month to use it up.  I have no idea who made this yarn, but it is acrylic - so won't be allergic to any small child.  For February, the next skein of baby yarn is:

The color isn't wonderful on this picture - but is is a pretty baby blue and white variegated yarn.

And then, I finished a pair of socks for myself:

This yarn is Schaefer Yarn II, Subtly Solid Botanicals.  The color is Pomegranate.  The color way did not show as well when I was knitting with it, but out in the light it definitely shows.  I am pleased with it!!!

For February I chose:

This yarn is Bugga from the Sanguine Gryphon - and the color is Northern Purple Gold Beetle.  I've started my sock and I love working with this yarn.  It's so soft and easy to knit.

The weather in Arizona is supposed to turn cold today and stay cold this week.  It will be a good time to stay in and knit and quilt.   I'll be knitting and enjoying myself!!!
