I haven't been to the sewing room too much this week, but I did make more bags for the Project for Kids as well as more stuffed elephants to be donated early in December. My numbers for Week 14 are:
Added: 0 yards
Used: 14.0 yards
YTD added: 4 yards
YTD used: 195.25
Stash busted: 191.25
My thread usage is 0 purchased, 11 used.
This week will involved a visit with AVIVA to take down the first 100 of the bags made for the Bags for Kids Project. I have thirteen completed baby quilts but have two pre-printed panels that I want to get completed to take down at the same time. I'm still cleaning the sewing room - one yard at a time! I can finally see progress, but have farther to go. I have started to needle turn the first block - the squirrel block - for the Woodland Creatures quilt. Here's the website for the pattern: http://www.quiltsbyrosemary.com/gallery_cs.php I saw this quilt completed and shown at the Tucson Quilt Guild Show in 2009 and fell in love with it.
I hope you have all had a wonderful week in your sewing rooms. Check out Judy's blog to see how others are doing! Have a great week - and Happy Easter!
