It's been another hot week - Tucson, Arizona broke a record for the most days over 100* in September since 1953. That makes good sewing time! The numbers for the week:
Fabric added: 0 yards
Fabric used: 11.75 yards
YTD added: 4 yards
YTD used: 445.75
Stash used: 441.75
I found additional "what did I ever see in this fabric" which will go up to the Cancer Quilts for Native Americans. I cut out two scrub tops for my DIL - she wants all black tops out of nylon type fabrics. My DS was digging through my stash when he was here and must have found enough fabric for at least eight scrub tops for her. So, as long as it is out I am making them up for her. One piece is about 8 yards long - the vendor at one of the little stores in the LA fabric district gave it to me as it had dirt on one end - it washed out without a trace of the spots. My DIL reminds me I have that fabric and haven't used it. As long as it is out, it's next on my list.
Rocket Man quilting is doing great. I have three blocks out of twelve left to hand quilt and then to the borders. I'm hoping to have the last three blocks quilted this coming week, the navy border and be ready to do the outside border. I have enough of my border fabric left to make a matching pillow case.
The bright socks are completed and I have the next skein of yarn out to get those started. Judy's sock in will be fun! Check out her blog to see how everyone's week has gone.
Your numbers are AMAZING!!!!
